But no, you're not quite through yet. You still have these frequent thoughts about smoking. You get a whiff of cigarette smoke and it smells good to you, not bad. You have to fight off thoughts of smoking all the time. This is where patience comes in.
If you think about it or look back at your early posts you will see that you suffered much more during the first week or two than you are suffering now. Things really are getting better for you day by day. The thoughts about smoking are not as frequent now as they were early in your quit. They are more annoying to you now because you expected them during the first weeks but you think they should be gone by now.
No, that's not the way it works. The thoughts continue for many months-- they get less and less frequent, but they are still there.
So be patient with yourself and your quit process. Recognize that things really are getting better little by little. And when you start to get really tired of the thoughts, remind yourself of the reasons why you quit smoking in the first place and then go do something to distract yourself from the thoughts.
This is all normal. You will get through it. You are most certainly rocking this quit!! I am at day 37 now not smoking. I did have one fall back a few weeks back. It involved drinks. Having the same problem with my skin and it is annoying.

I started getting them about 1 month in. They're still pretty bad 3 months later, but they are getting better slowly. Taking Loratadine generic Claritin daily actually helped quite a bit. I'm a geezer so probably too old but come to think of it, I have had a few zits since I quit analogs. Never connected it to vaping but you may be on to something Doesn't have to do with vaping, has to do with the quitting analogs -- it's your body pushing all those toxins out any way it knows how, including through the pores in your skin.
I read about them and figured I'd never get them because I've always had super-clear skin, but man, they were really bad 20 or more maybe? I had a staph infection in late Nov. Down to maybe 5. Oh yeah, I totally agree. If going back to smoking meant all my zits disappeared immediately and forever, I'd still be vaping.. I just dunno if these are truly quit zits or if I'm having some other dermatological issue..
Oct 10, Gamehendge. Aug 7, New Jersey. PG and VG allergies can both present with rashes. But actual allergies to either one are not super common. All those acky toxins from the cigs are escaping. Try the tea tree first though cos this cream literally burns off skin…I resemble Freddy Krueger some days I swear. Ironically, smoking can also cause acne. I had cystic acne bumps for 3 to 4 months after I quit cigs.
They have subsided, but I still get a bump or two from time to time. I have oily skin so I am back to normal. Some people do get it from vaping. Report abuse. Swap comments order. Hi Leighdo13, the same thing happened to me, lasted a few months, i a middle aged person, never had zits as a teenager! Hi rainbow - why don't the people talk about all the symptoms? Then we would all know what to expect. I had no idea what was happening to me with these zits.
