Who is stronger naruto or sasuke

In the end, it was none other than Naruto who, using his clever strategies and the Nine-Tails chakra, was able to take on Gaara and defeat him in an all-out battle. The Rasengan was taught to Naruto by Jiraiya, his mentor.

At the same time, Sasuke learned to use the Chidori from Kakashi. While both jutsu are powerful in their own right, when the two clashed on the rooftop, it was Naruto whose jutsu appeared to have done more damage. In fact, this frustrated Sasuke quite a bit and forced him to seek even greater power later on in the story. After quite a lot of harsh training, Naruto was able to master Sage Mode.

Soon after, he clashed against Pain in Konohagakure and managed to defeat him. At this point in time, Naruto was much stronger than Sasuke who, although had the Mangekyo Sharingan, had no idea about how to use its true powers. Sasuke simply lacked the chakra and strength to take him down. The Fourth Great Ninja War saw Naruto take the stage when the war had already begun but once he did, he made his presence known. Using his shadow clones, Naruto spread to every corner of the battlefield and fought the reanimated Kage.

Furthermore, he also stopped Madara's assault on the Shinobi Alliance with Wood Release and saved everyone. At this point, Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan wasn't ready and he was much weaker.

Naruto's contribution in the Fourth Great Ninja War was immense as he helped out across the battlefield to stop the Akatsuki from killing people. While Sasuke also joined the war, he did so quite late and was thus fresh. Naruto, on the other hand, was fighting for days and had expended quite a lot more energy than Sasuke did.

Jiraiya may seem silly on the surface, but most of the Akatsuki members knew they would lose if they challenged Jiraiya to a one on one battle, including Sasuke's older brother, Itachi. Jiraiya is a master at chakra control, which is an ability he later passed on to Naruto. He is so skilled at it that he can perform two Rasengan at once.

That alone would be enough for him to come out on top in a battle against Sasuke. He has fallen victim to Naruto's Rasengan more than once, so Sasuke would definitely have trouble overcoming two of them. Itachi Uchiha should be the least surprising name on this list. After all, his fight against Sasuke showed that Itachi had the upper hand plenty of times and, if not for his illness, he likely could have ended Sasuke.

So even though Itachi passed away, it is safe to say that Sasuke never really beat him. Still, some would disagree with the idea that Itachi is flat out more powerful. However, when it comes to genjutsu, Itachi definitely has the upper hand, and that alone is enough to defeat Sasuke.

In fact, Sasuke seems to be mostly powerless against it during their battle. Even the laziest of ninja can be strong and Shikamaru Nara proves this time and time again. He does not have all of the physical talents of a great shinobi, but Shikamaru is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with from time to time. While Shikamaru might not have the special abilities that are required to bring down Sasuke, it is his mind that gives him the upper hand.

Sasuke's intelligence surpasses many ninja, but not Shikamaru. Shikamaru was granted chunin status not because of his powers, but because of his tactical mind. His strategic mind allows him to think in ways his opponents do not, which would allow him to gain the higher ground in a fight against Sasuke. Killer Bee, or B, is one of the most underrated characters of the series. Many admit he is powerful, but he is often forgotten when fans name their favourite shinobi.

What makes B so impressive is that he is what people consider a perfect jinchuuriki, meaning he has control over his tailed beast. That kind of power should not go understated. Having a tailed beast already makes you powerful, but Killer Bee can also control the Eight-Tailed Beast. This ability to manage the Eight Tails gives Killer Bee unmatched stamina. He also has a wealth of chakra, amazing speed, and remarkable kenjutsu skills.

Those qualities make him a ninja that is worthy of standing up to Sasuke. Fans may be surprised to see Guy on this list, but he has earned a spot here because he knows how to combat the Sharingan effectively. Madara has even admitted that Guy was one of his most exciting opponents. Might Guy may look funny, but, upon closer inspection, Guy is clearly a legendary shinobi worth mentioning.

His taijutsu skills may be the greatest of any Konoha ninja ever, and his Eight Gates technique is unmatched. Considering the fact that Madara Uchiha had trouble with Guy, we can bet that Sasuke would definitely have a hard time defeating him.

Tsunade is a character who only got better over time. Her power is slowly revealed during her time as Hokage, and with each reveal, she just seems to get stronger. She is the most powerful of the three pupils of the Third Hokage, and that is saying something. She and Sasuke are on an even level when it comes to ninjutsu. However, Tsunade is likely the greatest medical-nin of all time.

Some may not consider that a strength in a battle against another ninja, however, it is her Creation Rebirth technique that makes her a strong opponent. The technique allows her to heal any wound she receives, instantly.

That, paired with her immense strength, makes her a formidable opponent. Madara Uchiha is the leader of the Uchiha clan and was the first of the clan to master the Sharingan. On top of this, Madara also sealed the Ten-Tailed Beast within himself, and that provided him with a wealth of chakra that not many ninja could match. Although Sasuke is an expert when it comes to using his Sharingan, he simply cannot compare to Madara's expertise. Madara has always been known as one of the most dangerous shinobi of his time, so it goes without saying that Sasuke would not be able to hold his own in a fight against him.

Fans remember their first time watching the fight between Gaara and Sasuke. Although it did not last for a long time, it was an all-time classic. Gaara proves throughout the series that he is worthy of the Kage title that he is given at a young age. The talent he displays throughout the series always seems to put his power on par with Sasuke's.

However, one could argue that Gaara at least has the advantage in one area. Being an Uchiha clan member, Sasuke has the power of the Sharingan at his aid and over the years, he's mastered its usage. Thanks to the Sage of Six Paths, Sasuke also gained the powers of the Rinnegan, something that makes him one of the most dangerous shinobi alive. It goes without saying that few characters in Narutoverse can match up to Sasuke if any and even fewer can beat him.

Updated on October 18th, by Josh Davison : Sasuke Uchiha is arguably tied with Naruto Uzumaki for being the most powerful shinobi in the world. Of course, this idea has been complicated by the coming of the Otsutsukis, but that doesn't change the fact that Naruto and Sasuke are two immensely formidable opponents. With the power of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Rinnegan, and his arsenal of ninjutsu, Sasuke Uchiha is one of the deadliest forces in the shinobi world. That said, there are still those who could potentially bring him down.

With all of this considered, we here at CBR have decided to expand this list, with an additional two shinobi that could beat Sasuke Boruto Uzumaki isn't currently at the place where he could beat Sasuke Uchiha, even with the powers he has usurped from the possessing spirit of Momoshiki Otsutsuki. However, Boruto is definitely on track to become a shinobi on par with his father and Sasuke. Orochimaru is one of the most formative tutors from Sasuke Uchiha's youth. Sasuke abandoned Konohagakure for the tutelage of Orochimaru, and the Legendary Sannin made good on helping form Sasuke into an incredibly powerful shinobi.

However, Sasuke has long surpassed the point at which Orochimaru left him. Even with Orochimaru's notorious ability to reincarnate and steal bodies, Sasuke would be able to lock him in an eternal genjutsu or simply dispatch each successive body with his ninjutsu.

Madara Uchiha, at the point when he was betrayed by Zetsu, was an unfathomably powerful shinobi. The Rinnegan and the Ten-Tailed Beast made him virtually untouchable, even with the combined forces of Team 7 and the entire shinobi army at their back. Madara only fell because of Zetsu's betrayal, and, though Team 7 may have theoretically been able to bring Madara down at some point, Sasuke Uchiha on his own would stand no chance against Madara at full power. Kakashi Hatake was another formative teacher for Sasuke, most notably teaching the young shinobi the Chidori technique.

However, Kakashi wasn't born an Uchiha, and that has always hindered his stamina when using his most powerful jutsu techniques. Furthermore, Sasuke was able to obtain the Rinnegan Eye and the Eternal Mangekyo, giving him another edge against Kakashi. While Kakashi is a brilliant tactician and generally a powerful warrior, he just wouldn't be able to measure up to Sasuke Uchiha as he is now.

Naruto is the Seventh Hokage of Konohagakure and the strongest shinobi alive right now.
