But the games are basically the same. And there you go You cannot catch Raikou in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. In a way. In pearl, you catch palkia. And in diamond, you catch dialga. You cannot catch palkia in diamond and dialga in pearl but you can catch both of them in Pokemon platinum. You cannot catch Palkia in Pokemon Diamond. Palkia is only obtainable in Pokemon Pearl.
You can only obtain it by trading with a Pearl owner. You cant get raikou in Pokemon diamond or Pokemon pearl. But you can get him in a gba Pokemon game and transfer him to your Pokemon pearl or diamond! Pokemon Diamond and Pearl both have set of Pokemon that they catch. For example Diamond gets stunkey and pearl gets glameow. You can't catch him in Pokemon pearl,you can only catch him in Pokemon diamond ,so,you,ll have to trade it with a friend.
You can, however, either catch one in Pokemon Platinum or trade with someone who does have one. You cannot get a Murkro in Pearl, it is a Diamond only pokemon.
